The Unity Code - Where Science Meets Energy, Consciousness, and Spirit.
Welcome to The Unity Code — a podcast where science meets the unseen and magic becomes measurable.
Hosted by Nicole Pope, a former corporate executive who once dismissed intuition, now a Spiritual Transformation Coach and evidential medium who blends logic with the language of energy. Here, we go beyond “believing” — we experiment, decode, and apply the energetic truths that bridge quantum science, consciousness, and spirit into practical tools for transformation.
Each episode explores the edges of what’s known — from mediumship, frequency, and energy work to psychic phenomena, Akashic Records, and galactic consciousness — grounding it all in the real-world application of spiritual technology.
This isn’t theory. It’s embodied research. Together, as a Unity Collective, we test energetic experiments, bridge scientific insight to intuitive practice, and uncover how consciousness actually creates reality.
Because science is magic made real — and you’re the proof.

How Ceremonies Amplify Spiritual Change
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If you’ve ever kept a solid routine and still felt stuck, there’s a reason and it’s not a lack of discipline. We’re breaking down the real difference between rituals and ceremonies, and why they create totally different kinds of change in your life, your nervous system, and your spiritual path.
Rituals and routines are the steady practices that build safety through repetition. They’re how you retrain your brain, rewrite neural pathways, and create sustainable shifts 1% at a time, whether that’s gratitude journaling, movement, mindful eating, or simply choosing better patterns day after day. They matter because integration is what turns a breakthrough into a new baseline.
Ceremony is the catalyst. It’s the moment you formalize an intention and invite in bigger support: your guides, ancestors, loved ones, and your own deeper wisdom. We talk about ceremonies that are big or small, from new moon and full moon intention setting to marking a new season of life, and even a “winds of change” practice inspired by Oya where you release what no longer serves you for transmutation.
We also explore divine masculine goal-setting versus divine feminine surrender, why making space comes before manifestation, and how to pair ceremony with daily ritual so your growth actually sticks. If this hits, subscribe, share with a friend who’s ready for a reset, and leave a review so more people can find the work.

Welcome And The Core Question
SPEAKER_00Hi, everyone. Welcome back to the Unity Code podcast, my little rebellious souls. You are. I'm so excited about this episode because I want to talk about the difference between rituals/routines. To me, those are very similar in my mind, and ceremonies. And I don't know. I think most people don't necessarily put a lot of thought processes into what is the difference between the two, but I will tell you, as somebody that comes from a spiritual side of the house, there is such a fucking difference between rituals and ceremonies. And my team has made it very, very clear to me is that I do not need rituals or routines. I need ceremonies every single day. And it took me a very long time to sit with this request from spirit to initiate ceremonies every single day instead of rituals. Because if I'm honest with you, I didn't really understand what that meant. But now that I can see the depth and profoundness in both rituals and ceremonies, I understand it. So I want to unlock and give you a little bit of education about these so that you can harness this power for you in your life as well. So let's talk about rituals because rituals to me, and your definition might be different. I think that's true with everything I always say on here. Rituals for me are more about doing the routines that embed your nervous system in safety and also create this predictable experience that allows you to kind of open up your nervous system and experience whatever it is you're doing routines about. So if we talk about, for example, um routines of gratitude, right? Rituals of gratitude. Maybe you have a gratitude journal every single night that you fill in, right? Maybe you identify five things you were grateful for for the day every single day. Maybe there's a routine or ritual you do around working out, right? Maybe there's a writ routine or ritual you do around eating and raking your food every time that you eat. Right. And so to me, rituals tend to be more patterned behaviors, thoughts, actions that result in kind of being in this
Rituals And Routines Create Safety
SPEAKER_00flow state that is meant to ultimately embed change in your life, but it's almost change at this like 1% every single day approach, which I think is valuable. And I think there's certainly um God, huge change that can come by changing 1% every single day or raking your food every day, right? Because you were essentially setting yourself up for the vibrations of more gratitude, the vibrations of more exercise and care for your physical body, the the routine and energy of having food that goes into your body that literally heals you from the inside out. And so you can see that routines and rituals are about these small things that you do on a very common periodic basis that ignites long-term change within your reality, heart, mind, body, soul, that allows you to really kind of set yourself on the trajectory that's going to help you in the future. And I think it's so important. And I don't ever want you to think that the words that I'm saying about routines and rituals mean they're less than, but I think they're more about the common exercise of continuity, of dedication, of perseverance, which are all very important qualities to have as a human being, that allow you to rewrite the neural pathways in your brain for long-term sustainable changes in thought, behaviors, patterns. So, like for me, talking on this podcast, there's probably routines and rituals I should be making, probably around exercise, probably around not reaching for the Doritos every single day, right? Probably routines and rituals around raking my water and getting up once an hour to give a little movement in my body, right? And so there are routines and rituals that I could very easily put in place that allow my body to be more of the temple that it's meant to be, my mind to be more of the temple that it's meant to be. And so, as we shift kind of out of this daily routines, rituals, energy that's about incremental change through neural pathway changes, which end up being permanent, by the way. Let's be very clear. If you do them long enough, you retrain your brain, you retrain your neural pathways, and it's a very effective way to rewrite again behaviors, patterns, thoughts, et cetera. But if we're talking about rituals, I want you to think about rituals are the catalyst for change, is what spirit is saying in my head. Rituals are almost like taking the steps within the marathon, but the ceremony is crossing the finish line and or starting the finish, starting the marathon and going across the starting line and going across the finish line. And so when we're talking about ceremonies as this catalyst for change, ceremonies invites intentions of shifting energy very quickly, of honoring yourself, your ancestors, your loved ones, your soul, your journey, um, your guides, and allowing them to partake in the change that you were hoping
Ceremonies As Fast Energy Shifts
SPEAKER_00to overcome within yourself. And so ceremonies are like the big party for intention that says, Hey everyone, I'm here. I would love to do this. I would like to formally invite you all in to help me with my intention of shifting this. And because you're in you're having this ceremonial party with yourself, your soul, your loved ones, your guides, et cetera, that actually allows the intention to be amplified and much more impactful than maybe a ritual or a routine would have been. So you can see how they both start with an intention of change, but ceremonies essentially are formally inviting a larger energy. It's former, uh, it's inviting a larger space, it's it's inviting in souls to help you shift, change, transmute into whatever you're hoping to achieve in the ceremony. And I think ceremonies can be very big, and I think ceremonies can be very small. I think ceremonies can be, you know, every single new moon or full moon getting together and doing some witchy shit, right? I think ceremonies can be integrating a new school year coming up for the kids and like having a moment where you set the intentions of the school year, you set the intentions for the types of friends that you want to call in, you set the intentions for um a big catalyst of change, of growth, of personal growth and development of education, right? I think ceremonies can be set as you sign up for a new class. Ooh, there we go. Like that idea, spirit. Setting the attention of what you want out of a class, what you want out of an investment in yourself. And most recently, and I'm recording this on July 29th, which is quote unquote astrolog astrologically the luckiest day of the year because, you know, what is it? The sun moved into Jupiter, there's a full moon today. I think it's an Aquarius. Um, and we have a big rain windstorm called the Nor'easter up here in the Northeast. Yes, it's fun. Um, the duplicity is just, God, it's ironic, right? That's why they call it a Nor'easter. And if you'd like me to say that in my Boston accent, it's a Nor'easter. So, like, this is so this is the ceremony that Spirit has asked me to participate in today is allowing the winds of change, and actually the goddess Oya, uh West African goddess, to take what no longer serves me and literally give it to the winds of change. And taking that entire day as a ceremony, inviting my team in to allow me to see what needs to be released, identify what needs to be released as I'm going through the day and as I identify what needs to be released, like taking the energy out of my body and literally holding it up to the wind
Real Examples From Moon To School
SPEAKER_00and releasing it to Oya for transmutation. And so there is this really cool thing that happens with ceremonies because it's like it's like a community effort with you and your team. It's formalizing the intention and amplifying the energy to create the change that you would like to see much faster. And I think the difference in the two, the energy in the two for me is ritual and routines tends to be more divine masculine energy. I have to do this, this is the outcome that I want. You have a very clear set of goals that you want out of it, and you're saying, This is the thing that I'm gonna do, this is how I'm gonna do it, this is what feels really good to me, and you go after it and you achieve it in a very divine, masculine go-do, being productive, especially every single day, mentality. And when we're talking about a ceremony, it's so much bigger than that because it is much more divine feminine. It is allowing spirit to show you what needs to be worked on. It is allowing yourself to embrace more divine feminine energy of surrender. And I'm gonna talk about that. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna use the word surrender for now. Asterisk, that'll probably change. But surrender into the lessons, spirit is amplifying for you. And you might have specific
Winds Of Change With Oya
SPEAKER_00goals or things that you might need to remove or transform, but you really are kind of giving spirit, here's the problem I'm facing. Can you help me transmute the energy that no longer serves me into something that is much more aligned for me? And so in a ceremony, there is a lot more surrender. There is a lot more of letting spirit lead. There is a lot more of having them, you know, in my case, show me who I was working with, what I was doing, how the energy was being amplified to make the maximum amount of change because I'm not the expert. I don't know if I've ever been the expert. When it comes to my transformation, I know that I am blind to many things that are behind the scenes in my subconscious that I'm unaware
Masculine Goals Vs Feminine Surrender
SPEAKER_00of. And Spirit made that abundantly clear when they showed me seven past lives in a row last night in like fucking flash format. It was like so fast. And they're like, This is what you're working on, sweetheart. And I'm like, fuck. Got it. Got it. So I literally in my ceremonies surrender to spirit. And I'm like, what what am I learning? What am I shifting? What is when am I transforming? How am I doing that? What does it look like when I do it? How, what am I ushering in when it's done? And I think there is some sovereignty in the work that I could define what I want, what the outcome is, what is the energy I'm bringing in, but I also trust my team implicitly to know what needs to shift and when. And if I want the thing that three steps down is what I'm my intention is, they might be like, okay, but we have to shift steps one and two first, and then we can shift three. And I trust that my team is gonna guide me to moving what is ready to be moved in order to go where I want to go. And so I guess I'm inviting you to think about the surrender that happens within ceremonies, and how are you going to allow spirit to move through you for your highest and best good to remove what doesn't fit and allow you to make space for what is meant to be because you can't transform without removing first. This is like the most painful fucking lesson most people learn, right? You can't just ask to ascend. You can't. You have to remove the energies that no longer suit you. You have to integrate them, you have to make space for what's to come. Because I bet you your energy is pretty dang full. Your life is pretty dang full. You're not gonna get the dream job if you haven't created enough space to write a resume and apply for the role. Right? You have to create time and space in your calendar in order to get to where you want to go. You gotta stop scrolling on the TikTok, everybody, you know? Like you have to. We have to take our lives into in our own hands. And I think this is really what the rituals and the ceremonies do, because I think ceremonies are a wonderful way to start the race. It's to start the change. And you do want to do ceremonies at the start to ignite the change. And then ultimately that change usually needs to be integrated into your body. And that's where rituals and routines come in, where you release the thing, welcome in the new thing, but then you need to create a routine and find safety in the release and the integration of the new thing within your energetic system. And so let's take the example of gratitude. So if I am somebody who is very angry, very bitter, um, is not grateful or thankful for anything in my life, I might do a ceremony with spirit that says, show me how to be more receptive and learning the abundance that is all around me. The abundance that I
Ceremony Then Integration Through Routine
SPEAKER_00don't perceive, the abundance that is blind to my energy, the abundance that is sent to me by my physical lifetime friends and family, and also my spiritual friends and family. Show me the abundance that exists. I need to understand that magic for me is everywhere, and I want to develop a sense of gratitude for the endless love that people give me through abundance. And so you might do a whole ceremony on removing the frequencies of frustration and anger to welcome in the frequencies of, I'm gonna be honest, like reception, because I think number one is probably a lack of even being able to see or perceive what is abundant, but then also allowing that abundance to reflect the gratitude and love that people share for you. So you might do that as a ceremony, and then every single day, as part of your routines and rituals, you are writing it down. You are writing down where you got frustrated. You are reflecting on the abundance that has been brought to you through the day, and you're taking the time to thank spirit for continuing to show and lead you through this transformation. And then ultimately, as you progress through the daily routines and rituals of releasing and reclaiming your gratitude and love and abundance, eventually you're gonna reach the end of that marathon and you're gonna say, I got it. I got it. I am so grateful now. Because change can happen very quickly, but also there are things and energies within your own body that are not used to you being at this new vibrational level. So it needs time to kind of settle into your system for integration. And when it does, it's now a part of you. It's complete. And at the end of that marathon, you're gonna open up a new ceremony for whatever is bubbling to the surface at that point. And that is really how I embrace this idea of ceremonies and routines. And this is how a lot of you, as my clients, kind of see this because I see every single session I have with all of you as a ceremony because I'm inviting in intentions of whatever you want. I'm inviting in your team to give you information, to give you energetic upgrades, to give you energetic healing. I'm giving you tools and routines to walk away with that help you integrate the energy so that you can move forward and reminding yourself that you are a capable, amazing fucking human being that is that can embody the transformation that you are a part of that you just sat through and witnessed. And now I'm just teaching you and giving you the tools to sustain it. And so I'm going to invite you to really think differently about ceremonies and routines or ceremonies and rituals, because one is going through the motions, which is has its own benefits, but another one is being the catalyst for the change that allows you to go through the motions.
Sessions As Ceremony And Closing Invite
SPEAKER_00And so ceremonies can feel very very big energetically. They can feel really scary energetically. I understand all of this if you're not used to the energy, because there tends to be a lot of crying and energy purges and just like, you know, moving through, and maybe you're down for the count for a few days after you're doing a ceremony. It's all totally normal. But if you are looking for huge fucking changes, ceremonies are where they're at. And I invite you, if you are looking to, to join me in a ceremony, either in a sovereign soul session or a soul mediumship session, and I promise you we will set the intention and we will fucking go and we will transform your energy. And I will give you tools that allow you to sustain and shift the integration within your own body. But I hope that was helpful. Go forth and do all the ceremonies, everybody. I am sending you all the love, and I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care.
