Growing Past It: When Your Spiritual Work, Gifts, or Business No Longer Fit

Transformation Is In The Air

Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the Unity Code podcast. This one is going to be definitely channeled from my team today. And I want to really bring in the frequency that is being felt by so many people right now. The frequency of transformation, the frequency of upheaval, the frequency of change. And how, you know, we can see this on a global level with all these structures falling apart. But I want to bring it into the personal level of how this looks like, how this might feel for you, and what you might be noticing, and maybe this, what this like means for you, especially if you're a business owner in this space, because we are all being asked to up-level our energies and our frequencies and definitely our connection to spirit. And that's going to look different for a lot of people. But there is a consistency that I've seen at all levels of massive discomfort with the changes in frequency and vibration and alignment that people are feeling. So if we start at, I'm not going to say the bottom rung, because it's not bottom as and bad, but if we're going to start with the spiritual newbies, and this is new to me as somebody who just, I was part of the last wave of spiritual people that had opened up like during COVID, that was me, everybody. Um, but what is so interesting is going through that wave by myself, going through this journey of having very, very advanced people. Um, when I say people like students, um clients, demonstrations where people generally know what mediumship is, how it works, et cetera. They might not be trained in it, but they've been to enough shows and or done enough research to kind of know how it works and how it doesn't work, and knows, for example, that when I give you evidence, it's it might not be super, super specific, or I might get one tiny thing wrong because I misinterpreted it. And there's a lot more flexibility and understanding in the frequencies that um I'm relaying in in a lot of my events, classes, et cetera. But what I've noticed as of late is that's no longer true for a lot of my clients, for a lot of the attendees for the events that I'm doing. And it's so interesting to watch because I forgot, I forgot that I needed to explain the basics to people. I forgot that I even needed to go down there because for so long I was working under the assumption that people were like more educated in what I do. And so this is the first time that I'm really experiencing that new wave of spiritual people that are opening up, the newly awakened people, the new people that are interested in the spiritual and metaphysical realms. Um, and it's almost like I also have to go back to basics again for them to talk about, you know, what mediumship is, what does it look like? What, you know, what are the this is how it comes through. Um, this is how it's not gonna come through. Don't come here asking for, you know, expecting me to give you their phone number or their so scary number, can't do that. Right. And so it's really interesting to me, kind of this weird dichotomy between um, I'm gonna get to the, I'm gonna get to the people that have leveled up, but though, but being in the same space of people that are very skilled, knowledge educated on what this is and being in the same space as people that are brand new. It's been a while. It's been a while, can I be honest with you, since that's happened. Um, so if you are one of the newer listeners here, fucking welcome. So happy to have you on your new spiritual journey. This is fucking amazing, right? This is the beginning of the most amazing trip of your fucking life. It's awesome over here in the spiritual realm. And also for those of you that are practitioners, hopefully this gives you a little bit of validation about maybe um just again the different education levels that we're seeing from a client perspective, which is totally fine. And again, none of this comes from judgment. It mainly comes from observation and me forgetting that I'm not the new one. Obviously, I'm not the new one, but uh sometimes it feels that way, right? Am I am I lying? I'm not lying. And so if you're new here, just to like, there's so much. There's so much I want to get into, but when there's a wave of newer people that come into this work because there's a new wave of opening, a new wave of spiritual transformation, a new wave of awareness that spirit is out there every single day, watching over you, with you, guiding you. What happens is we also see the massive uptick in the crazies, in the charlatans, in the people that are spouting complete bullshit in the spiritual realm. And that is so fucking more true than ever right now. I cannot, like literally cannot scroll through TikTok or social media without seeing how crazy some of these people are. The crazy stories that they're saying. And um, and you know it's crazy because a lot of it comes from fear. A lot of it is very fear-based narratives that they're pushing, fear-based beliefs that they're pushing, um, very disempowering beliefs and perspectives that they're pushing. And so that is like if I'm gonna give all you newbies out here one giant tip, is that if it's a red flag, if there are rules, if there is disempowerment, if they're telling you there's one right way to do this work, and if it comes from the basis of fear and demons and dark things and entities, red flag, those are not the leaders that you want to follow because this work, the metaphysical work, you are gonna get out of it exactly what you put into it. And this is why a lot of the fear-based narratives, people believe it to be so true, is because if they're coming at it from a very fear-based perspective, they're gonna get a very fear-based answer from the spirit world. If you're believing that the shadow people, right, are coming at you, or or you're getting abducted by aliens and they're they're coming at you, like you're gonna, your brain is gonna create the narrative that those negative things are actually happening and provide like proof and evidence that they're it's true. Um the reason why is the universal law of vibration because like attracts like. Are there those low vibration energies out there? Sure, absolutely. Yep. Um, I don't like to refer to them as evil. Those of you that have been around for a while know that. I don't think anything is evil. I think that things are low vibration, I think things are troublesome, I think things are meddlesome. Um, and so I don't necessarily equate low vibration to evil, but if you are attracting low vibration, troublesome spirits, you are gonna have to have a low vibration, troublesome experience with spirit, which it's not gonna be empowering. It's not gonna be great, it's not gonna feel good. Um, so watch what you're attracted to, watch what you're watching, watch what you are buying into and believing because vibration and frequency in this work is fucking everything. It's everything. Um again, you newer folks, get curious. Don't settle for the basic easy answers, get curious and realize that there's so much more potential than you could ever imagine out there. Mm-hmm. Um, the rest of this will be another podcast episode for another day, but I do want to just point out welcome. You are welcome here, you are welcome in every spiritual space. Um, and it's always wonderful to bring fresh perspective, fresh eyes, fresh beliefs into this space, into the metaphysical spiritual space, because there is so much more out there than we could possibly know at this time. And we have so much more to uncover. So the more people that are in this field, the merrier, as far as I'm concerned, because we are all unique, beautiful, vibrational souls with our own uh secret sauce of frequency and beliefs and perspectives that just every single one of us unlocks one other thing, right? A boatload of other things that other people have not been attuned to or have the right frequency to unlock in themselves. So I'm just I'm excited. I'm excited you're here. And then for those of you that have been around the block, you're probably noticing uh the increased number of like crazy conspiracy theories out there too. That's fine. Again, like whatever to each their own. Um but I think this is true for the people who love this work and also the people that are doing this work for a living, and or those of you that are somewhere in between the two, because we have all leveled up too. I have leveled up for fucking sure. The amount of downloads I get when I give space to get downloads is blowing my fucking mind. Like I blowing my fucking, I don't even know what to do with these things that are coming in yet, because they're all little tiny puzzle pieces. I know eventually they're gonna make sense and be coherent and land completely in my mind. But right now I'm just kind of riding the wave of download after download after download. Um and so if I'm experiencing that, like you're experiencing that at some level, and you might notice, as is true with many of my spiritual circles right now, many of my classes, the practitioners that have been doing this for a while are losing passion in the things that they really love to do. You may recall that I probably had another whining manifesto on this podcast several months ago about how I felt like evidential mediumship wasn't for me anymore. And it wasn't necessarily because I don't love mediumship, but I don't love the formulaic checklist version that a lot of people are teaching to and a lot of clients are expecting when they come into mediumship readings. And so there was this energetic dissonance between what my clients were hoping for me to do, which I absolutely can do, but it wasn't something that I was lit up about. It wasn't something that I was passionate about. And so it entered this like quest several months long to figure out what the fuck am I supposed to do with this work? Because I always knew mediumship was going to be a gateway for me. Don't worry, I promise this is going somewhere. Um, and I always knew that I wouldn't stop at mediumship. And I still love it, but I didn't like the way that I was doing it. I didn't like that I was attracting the clients that couldn't see the bigger picture. And again, not to knock you at all, but but that's who I am. I'm somebody who goes really fucking deep. And so I'm not just gonna give you the surface level evidence and then message I love you, message I'm still with you, and then be happy with that because it's not what I'm happy with in myself. I'm happy when I have deep fucking transformations. I'm happy when I get these deep fucking foundational massive downloads from spirit that change my fucking world, that blow my fucking mind. And I want my clients to have that same experience. I want their mind blown every time we have a session. That's like my literal number one agreement with spirit. I'm like, I need you to blow their mind. I need you to make sure that they know how much they are fucking loved and how perfect their lives are and how perfect their journey is, and how even in the mud, I promise you there's a lesson to learn. I promise you there's a way out. Right. And we go through the tools and we go through every avenue to make sure that you know that your future is inevitable. You just have to believe it in yourself. I do deep fucking work. I've always done deep fucking work. And so for me, in this journey to figure out what kind of medium I am, it just made sense. And all of a sudden one day it clicked just like that, like super clicked that I am a soul medium. Ding! Oh, that's the first bell I've heard while I've been recording several podcasts. Ding, ding, so much so that when I said I was a soul medium, they in my head, my spirit team drew a TM. Trademark, trademark that. You're the soul, you are the soul medium. I'm like, okay, now I got it. And just that little tiny shift in the way that I talk about mediumship, because it is still evidential. Everything I do will be at some level evidential because that's who I am. But to shift the perspective on, I'm gonna prove that life exists after death, to I'm gonna instead I'm gonna talk about the soul level of this person. I'm gonna talk about the past life connections you've had. I want to talk about the soul contracts you've had because I want people to walk away with knowledge and understanding and perspective that is gonna help them, you know, retroactively looking back, like heal, process, again, shift perspective from the relationships or the history that they've been in versus shifting forward and then getting additional advice, feedback, um, lessons, energetic attunements, et cetera, that are gonna help you as you progress forward on your journey. Because the people that are coming to me generally are um, I think my mentee Sarah says says it best. They're at a crossroads. Um not necessarily true for me. I think that is true for Sarah. My clients are not confused generally on what they're supposed to be doing, but they know that they want big, massive fucking change and they just don't know how to get it. Those are mainly my clients. It's like they know they are supposed to be changing the world and they're like, I don't know fucking how to do that. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, etc. So, like the soul mediumship makes sense to me in every sense of the words, because that's what I'm doing, is I'm connecting you to your departed loved ones, your guides, your Akashic records, anything on the other side to talk about your soul plan, your soul lessons. What was the contract with this person? What did you learn from this person? And now, what else are you going to need going forward on your soul plan? That's my work. That's what I'm fucking passionate about. If you looked at my bookshelf, 90% of my books are about the soul. Mm-hmm. Duh. And so for my evolution of just knowing that it just didn't feel right. Mediumship, evidential mediumship unto itself, didn't feel right for me. It didn't feel like it was me. It felt like it was a modality that everybody else could do. And that wasn't necessarily part of it. I know that just stated out loud. Um, but it was more so that I didn't, it didn't feel like mine. And as soon as I was able to just shift the perspective, realize that all of my readings, no matter where what my client fucking signed up for, we always went to the soul level. Every time, every time we would end up with past lives, we would end up with contracts, we would end up with um what you're supposed to be doing, your galactic missions. No matter what the reading was, we always ended up at this sole purpose level in um helping and guiding and aiding, you know, their progress on their journey. And so for me, being able to look back hindsight's 2020 and be like, of course that's what I'm gonna do. Of course that's what I'm gonna do. And so in this journey of kind of shifting my perspective with the service offerings that I do and moving away from evidential mediumship and towards this idea of soul mediumship, a very beautiful thing with spirit happened. And I'm getting my notes out because um it was that beautiful that I don't want to misstate what spirit said to me because they like to give me very specific words that I think are profound. Profound. And so as I was watching, I think it was John Edwards, on one of the TikToks or one of the social medias, and he's talking about mediumship and he's talking about what he does, and he's giving this amazing fucking reading. I like he was giving a reading, and I was like, oh. And then I got really pissed, I get kind of angry. And then Spirit said, You're upset, and I'm like, Yeah, really, I am really upset. That that beautiful fucking reading really like irked me the wrong way. And they and Spirit said, Why? Why are you upset? And I thought for a minute, and I reflected back on my relationship with mediumship. And I said, I'm upset because I gave up on it. I gave up on mediumship in that way, in the way that John Edwards does it, and the way that Teresa Caputo does it, in the way that Tyler Henry does it. I gave up on mediumship that way. And what Spirit said to me is no, you didn't grow you did not give up on it. You grew past it. And I just you grew past it. Four words changed my entire perspective on how I felt about moving away from strictly evidential mediumship. Because I evolved out of it. I evolved past it. It was my starting point that allowed me to see the bigger picture, to feel the deeper connections. And so it's only natural that I'm going to be a little sad, a little frustrated, a little upset, that I'm leaving behind the doorway that started this journey for me. And yet at the same time, how beautifully that spirit reflected that I didn't give up on it. I grew past it. And I think many of you are experiencing the same fucking thing right now. I think a lot of you have been doing this work for so long with your heart and your soul, and you've been bending over backwards, and you've been working so hard to learn and grow and deliver the best fucking readings that you can for your clients. I see you. I know, I'm there. And there comes a point where you grow past it. And I think it's a beautiful reflection as I started the beginning of this podcast episode, talking about the people, the new wave of spiritual commerce that are bringing themselves into this work, that are bringing themselves in this field, that are booking sessions, that are attending demonstrations, and how a lot of those newbies, sorry, I love you newbies, are coming with a lot of the questions that we've already evolved and grown past. Coming with the need for proof and evidence that we've already evolved and grown past. And we know how much power and depth and transformation it is in this work. Whether you are a medium, whether you are an Akashic Records practitioner, whether you do galactic channeling, right? Whether you do Reiki healing, whether you do anything else in the space, you know the transformation people will get. And I think for a lot of us, we realize that the transformation is not going to be as deep with some of the newer people. Not all, because I think some people wake up like me and they're fucking boom, there's everything is right there, and they're ready to go deep immediately. And I'm not talking about you, but I'm talking about the people who are a little more tepid in this work. The people who are like, let me just stick a toe in. Let me be skeptical, not that there's anything wrong with skeptical. But for me, you know, I had to set my intention with spirit that I want to work with the people who are ready for massive fucking change. I want to work with the people who I don't need to convince because that changes the whole dynamic of an experience, a reading. Because like I know without a doubt spirits out there. I know without a doubt my team watches over me. I know without a doubt God fucking showed up at my house on Friday and shut off my electricity. Without a doubt, without 0% doubts. And I think honestly, if I'm totally honest with you, I kind of lose patience with people who need the proof. Like, can I be honest with you? I know that there's purpose in it, and it was, and I was that person. But I also know that if I'm gonna spend my time and my nights and my weekends, right, away from My family, away from my kids. I want it to be the most impactful that it can be. And so it's okay that you grow past the things that feel less impactful, less aligned to you because you've grown, you've evolved, you've changed, you're supposed to. We are not meant to stay still ever in this lifetime. And so acknowledge the transformation that's going on in you right now. Acknowledge the fact that you're starting to grow out of the uncomfortable. Acknowledge the fact that what was really hard for you is really easy for you now. And acknowledge the fact that once what filled your cup doesn't do it anymore. There's no shame in that game because what your soul is asking to do you to do, what spirit is asking you to do is evolve and grow and continue reaching that next level. And so there is a whole perspective shift in these transformations that we go through as we fall out of love with certain aspects of this work. Inevitably, we're making space for falling in love with the next aspect of this work. But pay attention. Spirit's asking you to make space. And it's okay to feel the feelings, and it's okay to process the sadness and the grief that comes with losing or feeling like with me, I left it behind. But in actuality, it was just one step on my amazing path to working with spirit. And you have no idea, you have no fucking idea what is in store for you next. Just you fucking wait. Take your evolution as proof of your growth and up-leveling. Next one's in June, by the way. Um and she's been in and out of the, she finally figured out how to act. I've been working with her on how to access the Galactic Akashic Records. And now that she's been in there a lot, um she's she's had some really profound messages that I hope you don't mind me sharing, Melissa. But from a galactic standpoint, she discovered the information that we're calling this like the great undoing, right? All these structures are falling. This is like everything is falling down, everything is breaking apart, right? With the way that it's supposed to be, divinely orchestrated right on time. And I would have said this too. And I love that she had galactic energies that amplified and received the same message that I did. To me, I see this time as a great awakening. Not just in people realizing that this work is real, but for every single one of us, realizing the next level that's possible, the next path being revealed. Right? The only question is for you, are you willing to sit in the resistance of being a beginner again? Are you willing to sit in the resistance of undoing or moving past the version of you that is now comfortable? We grow in discomfort. Change makes the future possible.
