Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Unity Code. We are going to close out our trust conversation today, which I'm really excited about. And I want to talk about how our guides lead us and what happens when they don't and why they don't. Because I think a lot of the trust comes from failed expectations about what we think happens in this metaphysical work and what doesn't happen when we want it to, right? Um, and so this is just such an interesting topic. And this is something I get very fucking bitter about with my guides. I'm so sorry, guides, because trust when you're working with your guides in particular. Oh my God, it's not neat. It's not logical. Um, sometimes it's fucking amazing and it's crystal clear. And then other times it's like a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle and you're missing half of the pieces. Um, and the truth is about this trust conversation that we've been having this week, both are absolutely perfect. So I want to talk about and dive into why messages from guides can either be clear or a mess. And most of the time it's somewhere in between. Um and it's so interesting to me because this is like this is such a downloaded podcast episode where I'm gonna tease a bunch of shit that I have to talk about in future episodes with all of you. Um, because it it really is the basis of the foundation about all of our journeys here as souls in this physical world. Because we as souls essentially create our plan, our journey here, what our life looks like before we come here, um, as souls before we are born into the physical world. So we essentially create our plan, our milestones. We come, we create who's our family, who's going to be our spouse is a parentheses as, right? Because some many of us have multiple spouses or significant others, what our awakenings look like, what are our careers look like? What are our shifts look like, right? And so to me, the way that I always see it is that we have these major milestones that we've agreed to, but we also have this zone of free will that allows us to detour off the path for a little bit, allows us um to essentially change our chart our chart a little bit for the most part, but most of us are able to get back on track. So that so I I think a lovely thing happened yesterday that I think helps explain this a lot. Okay. Um, and it's really interesting because my team tends to come in very loud in moments when it's not a big decision that needs to get made. So, for example, I drove to Costco yesterday on a Sunday. Yes, you can certify mentally insane, like over here, because who the fuck goes to Costco on a Sunday? I do, because I fucking love Costco. Um, with two kids, nonetheless, that's a whole other level of insanity. Um, so on the way there, now Costco, the nearest one to me is about half an hour away or so. So I'm driving down and I get close to it, and there's two different exits off the highway I can take. My brain, my team said, take the second one. I like the first one. I like the first one because it takes you through these gorgeous country roads. You end up on the crest of a hill and you can see out for miles and miles and miles. And I love it. It's a beautiful little trail. So I'm like, no, fuck you, team, because I do this all the time. I'm so sorry, team. I have so much to atone for. Um, and I say, no, I'm gonna get off the first exit. So I feel the little bit of frustration for my guides, and I'm like, okay, they're fine with it. That's fine. I get off the highway and there's three different lanes I can take a left in. That's how big this area is. Um, they tell me to stay in the rightmost lane, and I don't listen to them and I go in the middle lane. Why? I don't know. I just felt like I wanted to go into the middle lane, even though in my head they're telling me to stay in the right. Um, and then they're telling me in my head, you're not gonna be able to get into the right lane to go on that beautiful country drive to get to Costco. And I'm like, well, I'll figure it out. Someone will let me in. And they're like, no, they won't. And I'm like, whatever, it'll be fine. I'll figure it out. So I so I take the left. They were right. I couldn't get right to get into the lane. So I ended up taking a left and detouring um in the not so pretty area, also to get to Costco, because all roads lead to Costco, everybody. And so I end up taking a left, going through the small area, and it was fine. Um, but I essentially detoured my path that I wanted to take. Okay. So they told me to go down this path. This would be the easiest and fastest way today. I said, no, I'm all set. I'm gonna go this way. And they're like, well, if you're gonna go this way, this is the next best, easiest path. And I didn't listen to them. I ended up on probably the least efficient path to get to Costco. Okay. I mean, let's be honest. The time difference between all of these is minimal. But um, I think it was a beautiful example about how spirit will work with you and your free will. Because ultimately what happened is I got there maybe two or three minutes after I wanted to, did not take the beautiful scenic ride. That's totally fine. But when I got there, they told me to turn left into this certain part of the parking lot. So I did, and then they said, take your second left. You have a good parking spot over there. And that's exactly what they did. So they worked with me and my stubborn ass to take a different path. That was my free will choice. Um, gave me advice and feedback off of my stupid path, um, which I didn't listen. And then I took another stupid path, and they were still there guiding me towards the best parking spot at that moment when I had arrived several minutes later than I wanted to. And I think this is a beautiful symbol of what spirit is like because they will work with you regardless of whatever choices you make to give you the best path possible. Now, in terms of milestones, again, all paths led to Costco, but I took my free will choice to get there a little bit later. It doesn't mean I didn't get there. It just means I took a little extra time to get there. And that's what I think a lot of our side quests and our journeys do. Um, and I think that's the beautiful part about this free will is that either way, the synchronicity is lined up. Either way, the path was open and easy for me to get to. And I had to trust that my team was going to get me there, even though I wanted to detour a little bit too, because spirit can still steer me through my path and help me with my path, even when I want it to look like differently than maybe how I originally intended, because I'm a stubborn mule. Okay. Um, and so that's really the big picture and how I think about all of our soul journeys is that we do have these milestones. We can veer off the path. We still learn lovely lessons along the way. Our team is gonna support us either way. And that's why I always tell my clients there's no wrong path because you ultimately get to your destination. Is it gonna be the most efficient? Maybe not. Is it gonna be the most beautiful path? Maybe not. But our guides will help us get there because Lord knows why, but that is their job. And they signed up to help us get to these milestones. They, and that's really what I think about guides are, and this is such a key moment. And if you walk away with nothing else from this podcast, I want you to walk away with this. Guides are there to help us fulfill the contracts that we have written in our soul's path, right? Because before we come here, we again we set the path, we set the milestones, we set the destination, we set the goals that we want to achieve here. And essentially our guides are those people that bring us through these journeys to help us achieve these milestones and goals that we have developed in our soul plan. Okay. Um, so when we talk about these expectations of guides, 99% of times, when people are pissed off at their guides like me all the time, it's because they think that guides are here to make our life easy. They are not here to make our lives easy, everybody. They are here again to help us deliver on our soul plan as we have agreed to before we come here. So, what that looks like is that they will help us get on that plan. They will help us move energy, arrange timing, um, bring people to us, bring events to us, right? They will give us downloads to help us be on the soul plan. They will send us signs and symbols and songs and synchronicities to help us stay on that path or get on that path if we're off it. But what they can't do, and this is written in the contract too, they're telling me, they cannot override your free will. They cannot make the choices for you, they cannot make this easy for you because sometimes difficult is part of your soul's plan. That's what you've agreed to. Right. And so, so guides essentially they're the CEOs. Are they the CEOs? They're the COOs, they're like the COOs. They're gonna help you see and and navigate this macro level view, this higher level view, while we live the micro level view, we live the day-to-day experience. Um and so their non-interference generally in your day-to-day experience is respecting your sovereignty and your decisions for free will. And it's really this mutual relationship that you have with your guides as peers, God dare I say that, as peers, instead of them kind of being higher on the hierarchy than you, because you're like the CEO of your life and they're the COO, you work together on the same goal and the same mission, but one doesn't outrank the other. And Lord knows that, right? Because I had no fucking choice about whether I was gonna open up to spirit, right? Like that was in my soul plan. My my guides were like, you're fucking doing this. And I'm like, I don't want to. I want to stay in my corporate job. And they're like, you're fucking doing this, right? And so, so they're coming in to help me fulfill the purpose that I've already intended for myself. And sometimes, you know, I can veer off that path, but sometimes they're gonna push me back on that. Um, and so I think this conversation really helps, I think, understand why messages can come in clear versus maybe why they come in a little bit foggy. Because sometimes in readings for clients, your spirit guide messages will come in crystal fucking clear. They will give you names, they will give you dates, they will give you visuals, they'll tell you what what path is your best path. They'll never decide for you again, but they'll tell you this is the path you should be going down. Um, they'll tell you what the next 10 steps are, they'll tell you if you're getting married, they'll tell you if you're having a kid, right? You like they literally break this down in some sessions for me. Other times, clients will come to me and it's so fucking vague, right? Um, and they're like, No, we're not gonna talk about that today, or no, we're not gonna go into that with you today. And it's so interesting because I think whatever spirit gives you in the moment is exactly what you are supposed to be given in that moment. And sometimes you need a kick in the ass with a very clear outline of next steps. And other times, and maybe for me, probably, it's when you don't you've received the information and you don't trust it, and or you need to work through it and you need to decide, then then the messages come in a little more foggy, a little less clear. Um, and I think sometimes, for example, if they gave you the exact path or destination, you would run towards it without any side quests and you'd be missing some key components that you're supposed to be learning in your life. So they don't spoil the ending for you. They tell you what your next step is, which might be walking into a fucking pit of fire sometimes. I'm so sorry. Um, sometimes it's going into an abusive relationship, right? Sometimes it's going into a shitty fucking job because there's a lesson or something there that you're supposed to learn or something that you're supposed to go through there. Um, so again, it's not always hunky dory. And I think sometimes when it is, I don't think it's a direct correlation, but I think sometimes when the messages are foggy, that's part of the journey is that it's not going to be the best news for you. So we don't want to spoil it for you. We want you to go through it. We don't want you to be nervous, just go through it. Um, and I think this is a real challenge for us as mediums or practitioners, is because we want every client to receive the best reading and the most clear informative reading ever. And I think a lot of clients think that we see everything super clear, as if your guides are sitting there talking next to you with these diagrams and everything is easy and understandable. And that's not how it works. Um, because our job is to deliver the message without editing. And sometimes the message we receive is clear and sometimes it's mud. And so that can really trip a lot of professionals up in terms of self-trust. Um, and so if you are a practitioner, I just want you to know, yeah, sometimes it's like that, and your job is to deliver. And it's okay to be honest. And I'm not seeing that this is super clear right now. I think this is part of your journey right now. And this is why if you get advice from a spirit guide and you don't take action on it, you go back, they're gonna tell you the same thing over and over again because you get clarity in following the breadcrumbs. Um, so let's take a moment here to maybe talk about what it looks like to live in partnership every day with your guides. And so this is all about um listening, right? Just listening to your guides, right? And and receiving the intuitive nudges that you get every single day, not knowing where they come from. I'm convinced that most of them come from your guides or your higher self. But once you receive the information um by being open, by being trusting, by making sure you have space for spirit, is is receiving and following these intuitive nudges, nudges. Um, and just continuing to follow, continuing to act, continuing to listen on these, because you don't always need the full staircase to get going. Sometimes you just need that first step. Um, and I really think that that's truth number one, because that is that uh taking each additional step reveals the next step. You just need to keep going. You just need to keep going. Um, I guess the second truth about working with your guys is that spirit will only give you insight and not orders. Um, they are not your puppet masters, they are not, again, um, they are not the CEO of your life you are. They are the CEO that's gonna work with you. And so they're gonna give you insight and perspective. And that's what a lot of these metaphysical tools are: the tarot cards, the pendulum, um, numerology, right? Like runes, like these are these are reflection points and perspective, but you get to make the decision. So that's truth number two. And I would say truth number three, this is especially true for me. Silence tends to be a confirmation because I know personally my guides go quiet when I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing when I'm in alignment. The signs will keep coming, right? I'll still get signs and angel numbers and synchronicities, but for the most part, they're not in my head all day. And that's when I know I'm in alignment. And to be honest with you, have you heard this fucking deadbell lately? It it has not like it's on every episode and it's not recording. And so it's really interesting to me because I'm typing this and they're making me, or I'm not typing, I'm saying this and I'm looking at my deadbell at the same time, and and they're quiet when you're in alignment. The silence is you've got this. So if you feel like your team has gone quiet, it's more than likely you're doing a great fucking job, right? That's like graduation energy. That's not abandonment at all from your guides. Um, so to close this up, I just want you to say, as you're kind of heading into this weekend, I want you to take a breath. I want you to ask yourself, where are you trying to hold the reins a little too tight? Where maybe do you think your guides are working behind the scenes to line something up then that's better for you than what you're currently going through? And when you're judging them and you're judging yourself, you're not opening up your intention and energy to spirit. So if you are having a tough time and you're you're trying to control everything, that's a great time to bring yourself into coherence. Bring your heart and mind together, make space and ask your team for a little bit of perspective, a little bit of things that you can trust. Because spirit never, ever, ever leaves you hanging. This is something I know to be absolutely true. They are always hitting you a compass and saying that way, this way, follow it. Um, even when it's foggy, especially when it's foggy, because that's where the magic is. Receiving the downloads from spirit, trusting it, and moving forward, even though you don't know where the fucking destination is leading you. Because that's what trust is with spirit. Moving forward, not knowing the destination and trusting that it's gonna be as good or better than you ever hoped it would be. And that's how I live my life every single day. I don't know where this podcast is going, but I know it's fucking good. And I know my team is gonna lead me towards something that's amazing. So I'm gonna trust them and I'm gonna trust this, and I'm gonna trust all of you that you are here for the same reason. So there you go.
